National Webinar: Don’t Be Caught Off Guard: HR Law Updates You Need to Know for 2024

Program Description:

With a presidential election, an active Supreme Court, legal marijuana, and a solar eclipse, 2024 is set up to be an interesting year (to say the least)! Unfortunately, all of this amounts to increased challenges and legal pitfalls for employers.

Whether you are a seasoned human resource professional, experienced corporate counsel, or the new HR generalist, join us as we cover the latest changes and challenges facing employers, including:

  • How to manage political, social justice, and other speech that impacts the workplace;
  • The new regulations under the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act;
  • The impact of Ohio’s marijuana law on employers;
  • The challenges created by requests for religious accommodations after the Supreme Court’s Groff decision;
  • Navigating DEI after the Supreme Court’s Harvard decision;
  • And a host of other Olympic-sized issues we expect to see in 2024, including remote work issues, ADA challenges, pay equality concerns, and independent contractor scrutiny.
